Mini-Consults

1. What I offer

I provide telephone consults focused on specific questions or technical issues. I offer to listen intently to your questions, ask you specific questions to quickly understand the nature of your trouble, and advise you on strategies if I can.

If I believe you need in-depth help in addition to working on your problem alone, I will do my best to advise you on the issues you may need to address to solve your problem or develop your project. I will work as quickly as possible and will be as specific as I can be with my suggestions.

My usual guideline is to talk for one session. If you request, and if I think it will be valuable to you, I will talk with you one to two more times. If your problem requires more than two sessions, or my provision of additional services beyond telephone consultation, my standard consulting rates will apply, and I will provide you with a rate sheet that you must sign in order to continue the consultation.

2. What to do before you contact me

Regardless of whether you are interested in general market factors, business development, program development, or have a technical question related to the operation of hyperbaric chambers, facility design, codes and regulations, or other related issues, write down your questions before our consultation. This is particularly important if your questions involve general market or industry background questions.

a) what is your problem or set of problems?

b. what do you need from me?

c. indicate if you have a special need regarding what day, time or week you want to talk (see "how we schedule a time" below)

3. How to reach me

4. How I will respond to your first message

If you phone and I am unable to speak with you immediately, you may leave a voice mail message. Unless the voice mail response indicates that I am traveling or otherwise out of the office, I will reply to your message within 24 hours. I will answer your e-mail within three days and your letter within five days.

5. My charges

45 minute consultation $150. I accept payment via check, money order, or Paypal.

6. How we schedule a time

I will first contact you to say we have received your request and will indicate roughly how long it may be before we can schedule a time. Later, we will contact you to confirm a time of the appointment and to arrange payment. Your payment must be received 48 hours prior to the appointment or it will be canceled.

Appointments must be canceled prior to 48 hours before to appointment or you will be charged the agreed upon fee. Please note: 90% of the time our scheduled time to talk will be between 9AM and 6PM Central time.
